Lancashire County Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Team Manager for their Safeguarding team based in Lancaster.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within Lancashire’s recently remodelled multi-disciplinary, innovative service; one that is transforming how they safeguard young people facing risks outside the home.
As Team Manager, you will:
Lead and inspire a passionate, skilled team committed to making a difference.
Champion high-quality, trauma-informed, relational and strengths-based practice.
Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of contextual safeguarding across the North.
We’re looking for someone who:
Brings experience in safeguarding and a passion and commitment to improving outcomes for young people at risk of exploitation.
Leads with empathy, clarity, and a collaborative spirit.
Is ready to influence change and drive innovation in contextual safeguarding.
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
