Children’s Social Worker – Warwickshire

Pay rate – £38 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Warwickshire County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Children in Care team.
 
Hybrid working available
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
 
Managing the statutory duties and care planning for children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.
Build positive relationships with children living with foster carers, kinship carers, or in residential homes, and advocate to ensure their voices are heard in all future planning.
Complete, monitor, and update children’s care plans, Pathway Plans, and Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
Work closely with families, foster carers, schools, health professionals, and legal teams, attending statutory reviews and relevant meetings.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
