Children’s Social Worker – Liverpool

Pay rate – £40 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary  
 
Liverpool City Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Safeguarding team.
 
It is essential that all candidates are car drivers and have access to a vehicle
 
Must have strong court skills and a proven track record in Safeguarding.

What’s on offer:
An initial 3-month minimum contract to create stability for our children and young people, likely to extend to 6 months placement
35-hour week
Hybrid working model, 3 days in Liverpool per week completing visits / meetings
A supportive and permanent team and manager, very low agency rates
Regular supervision
ICT Kit and support
free car parking / office based outside city centre
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
