Children’s Social Worker – Knowsley

Pay rate – £39 per hour

Knowsley MB Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Looked After Children team.
 
Full-Time | Ongoing Contract
Hybrid Working – 3 Days Office / 2 Days Home

About the Role
You will be part of a dynamic Children Looked After team, managing a varied caseload that includes:

• Children subject to care proceedings
• Children in care (LAC)
• Care planning, permanence, and pathway planning
• Preparing reports and attending court
• Working collaboratively with legal services and partner agencies

 
This role offers a great opportunity to engage in purposeful, child-centred practice with a focus on achieving stability and positive outcomes for children.
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
