Children’s Social Worker – Knowsley

Pay rate – £39.15 per hour

Knowsley MB Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Social Worker for their Fostering team based in Huyton.
 
The service has two teams, and this role will be working primarily in the support and supervision of foster carers team.
The role will involve supporting a supervising a case load of approved foster carers, both mainstream foster carers and connected carers, ensuring that National Minimum Standards are met.
The role will also involve being part of a fostering service duty rota, duty involves placement searches and regulation 24 assessments. 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
