Children’s Social Worker – Durham

Pay rate – £32.73 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Durham County Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Safeguarding team.
 
Hybrid model 2 days in the office and 3 days at home (this may change to meet the needs of the service).
This vacancy is to cover maternity leave.
 
C&F assessments
Chair core groups & Child in need meetings
Write children in our care reports and plans
Attend PLO meetings
Write Court evidence and attend Court
Work with children and families under Child in Need, CP, PLO, Court
Other social work-related tasks identified by the manager
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
