Advanced Practitioner – Durham

Pay rate – £35.45 per hour
 
Contract – Temporary
 
Durham County Council are currently recruiting an experienced children’s Advanced Practitioner for their Safeguarding team.
 
Experienced social worker consultant to work in a busy safeguarding team.
They work hybrid model 2 days in the office and 3 days at home (this may change to meet the needs of the service).
 
Reduced case load
Supervise and manage the family workers including allocation of work
Cover for team manager when on leave etc.
C&F assessments
Chair core groups & Child in need meetings
Write children in our care reports and plans
Attend PLO meetings
Write Court evidence and attend Court
Work with children and families under Child in Need, CP, PLO, Court
Other social work-related tasks identified by your manager
 
 
 
Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
